Backstory:
Being in rather poor financial situation right off the bat Tanaka grew up around the Daitoshi wall area with his brother and father although one could question the ledgitamecy as they were both blue while tanaka is red nonetheless they were close.Growing up poor tanaka only studied and learnt basic literature and numbers before having to drop out at rather quickly to help his father with his woodfire bussniess.from there he would act as the delivery boy going around selling and delivery firewood,he also acted as the chef and caretaker of the household cooking and cleaning for his family,cooking being a particularly favourite thing of his
He would keep this up until he was well into his prime as a young adult where it would change on fateful day.As Tanaka was doing his usual rounds he was approached by a couple fellow oni who offered him a handsome amount of money in exchange for delivery a package for them,seeing the reward he accepted not caring or questioning the contents of the package as he went around finishing his firewood deliverys before finally going to hand over the package.Following his knowledge of the area and descriptions from the two onis tanaka found himself heading into a side alley with a small house in it where he met the package receipient and handed it to him.However it wasn't as simple as it turned out he was followed stepping into the alley behind him were two humans who demanded he hand the package over or else.Sticking to his word and not wanting to turn down the cash reward promised at the end he refused leading to a brawl between him and the two.Tanaka put up a decent fight as he told the recepient to get away but was still beaten down however not long after foosteps could be heard as the two oni from earlier came picking up where tanaka left off thrashing them completely as they helped the poor boy up.
Seeing how he handled himself the two men asked if he was willing to do this repeatedly he would still be paid well so he accepted doing this for a while as he soon realised he was working for the criminal clans but it din't bother him as much as it should as a majority of the clan still had some form of honor with its members and civilians helping those who paid their protection fees but of course they weren't a charity as often they were hired as thugs and debt collectors by some to intimdate,beat or even kill others as well as a black market dealings but he din't really care as he delivered packages he barely knew the contents of and fending off whoever came after and also acting as a sort of eyes on the street for them doing this for about a year before he got taken into the clan as one of the underlings with the Hashimoto family where he acted as a grunt putting his fist and street fighting skills to work.Its also during this time that with the new money coming in he helped his family and spending a majority of his funds not on women and booze but ingridients as he experimented and refined his culinary art skills for his household.
This would continue on for a good fourty or so years of debt/fee collecting,transporting packages,getting into brawls and so on before it all began to crumble down as a mix of in-fighting,rival groups and crack down from the authoritys led to what is more or less the death of the Hashimoto family as most members went into hiding somewhere in the country or fled the nation entirely Tanaka being one of the latter who ran to Sunquan for a few months before fleeing away to sea getting himself situated at Eahaim.There at the island city he lived for a good few decades where he lived with other daizan immigrants but mingled with the population learning decent common along the way as well as a number of recipies to add to his list.It was during these decades he layed low as a the groundskeeper to the temple of lilyma on the island, sweeping and taking care of the grounds for pay.It was also during this time he began to learn about the other regions properly,however as much as he enjoyed his time at Eahaim it did not last forever as soon one of the former rival groups set up shop on the island and their members spotting out tanaka they opted to finish what they started.So tanaka fled again far away to stucian where he now resides still looking to improve his cooking skills and live his life

"The medicine lady yes?...ah i don't quite know too much about them but so far they seem good they do their work,they don't cause trouble and they take care of the adventurers and others.very smart as well from what i know..if you have a problem you can talk to her though she may seem scary at first with that..mask and clothes"

"Mr Daken the dwarf?...Ah yes he is a rather good man from what i understand a bit rough and informal at first but he's good and strong man though i will admit i still sometimes worry about his purse given a few troubles in the past but so far he seems fine im sure you will get along with him especially if you enjoy drinking and like i said earlier "strong" in a fight you can usually trust him to deal with whatever your fighting."
