A rather large note is nailed onto the side of the Reception/Storage area of the docks, the handwriting rather neat
Alright, landlubbers, time for a little lesson.
A lot of you scallywags don't even know the difference between a Schooner and a Sloop, so this'll be addressing what types are ships will be available and what they'll do, I'm even throwing in notes on them, so be grateful you bleeding rats!
GUN PRICES
NOTE: GUNS WILL BE MADE SHORTLY AFTER ORDER AND WILL ONLY BE APPLICABLE TO THOSE WHO OWN A SHIP CAPABLE OF CARRYING BATTERIES OF GUNS
Swivel Gun: 350 silvers
8-Pounder: 1000 silvers
12-Pounder: 1500 silvers
20-Pounder: 3000 silvers
Gunship
"This here's probably the most cheapest, sea-worthy vessel you can find. Unless you fancy sailing the seas in a rowboat, of course. And even then, I wouldn't fancy your chances if you're planning to make a trip that'll take longer than a day."
Price: 1000 silvers
Sailing System: Single-mast
Cargo: 1 Tonne
Guns: 1 (Cannon can be added to the front of the hull/Swivel gun can be applicable to front-side of hull.)
Crew: 3 - 5
Snow
"Probably the more recommendable vessel for people who don't plan on making an entire living on sailing. Small, Agile and able to take to the seas much longer than a Gunboat. Although, I still wouldn't plan on makin' a trip around the known world with one of these."
Price: 3000 silvers
Sailing System: Double-Mast
Cargo: 5 Tonnes
Guns: 6 (3 Each port-side)
Crew: 5 - 7
Schooner
"A fast beauty, a Schooner is. In fact, it's better than a snow in every way, aside from the cheapness value. Thanks to the slim design (Personally made by me), three-mast sailing system and balanced weight, you'll find yourself outrunning any vessel that dares try to chase you. Unfortunately it's not very well equipped for anything other than light skirmishes with lesser-ships and running important merchandise."
Price: 4000 silvers
Sailing System: Three-mast
Cargo: 7 Tonnes
Guns: 8 (Four each portside)
Crew: 8 - 12
Sloop
"When you think of naval ships, think the sloop as the skirmishers that've just recently passed training. Not as fast as a Schooner, but more ably equipped. Generally, this ship is more preferable to those who uh... Make a living off being a privateer or... other sources of income, heh. It utilises a single mast sailing system, due to the fact that the Bow sail is nearly as long as the hull. Thanks to this however, the wind resistance is incredibly stream-lined and able to manoeuvre around rough winds and waters with an impeccable ease, probably even better than a Schooner in that category!... Oh, and you'll be able to make trips that'll take months, aswell."
Price: 6000 silvers
Sailing system: Single-mast
Cargo: 15 Tonnes
Guns: 10 (Five Each port-side)
Crew: 10 - 13
Brigantine
"This is the point where captains of unofficial stance get a little rare with ships larger than this. A dual-mast sailing system with the main one being just taller than the secondary mast. These ships are pretty fast, considering their size and can catch up to plenty of vessels with enough intimidation present. They can carry a vast amount of firepower aswell, and the hull is very durable, considering the size. A good overall rounder for speed, durability and power. Expect this and anything above it to be able to make trips around the world (Provided salt don't screw you over with a typhoon)."
Price: 11000 silvers
Sailing System: Three-mast
Cargo: 30 Tonnes
Guns: 20 (Ten each port-side).
Crew: 20 - 25
Frigate
"Frigates, in my opinion, are the best vessels you can find if you need a ship that's perfect for any duty. The speed you can reach with well-crafted frigates is quite astonishing, considering they're normally over a hundred and twenty tonnes. There are a variety of different frigate builds from all 'round the world, but the ones I build are three-deck, three-masted sailing system ships that can carry a vast battery of guns. Best used for cruising and military might, even escorts could be preferable."
Price: 25000 silvers
Sailing System: Three-mast
Cargo: 36 Tonnes
Guns: 26 (11 each port-side, four on deck)
Crew: 26 - 32
Galleon
"And here we have the best - or perhaps worst - either way, most expensive vessel you'll find craft-able by me. They're slow, sluggish and absolutely devastating warships. The decks consist of nothing but support for batteries of cannons, and have an absolutely huge crew size. The ones I make have a three-mast sailing system, but you'll find that there are variants with four masts. Those ones are in the mainlands however, and made by people who can actually get navies to support them. If you're able to afford one you're going to go through a whole lot of customisation for it... Customer service, if you will."
PRICE: 50000 silvers
(Comes with Eight 8-Pounders and Four 12-Pounders.)
Sailing system: Three-mast
Cargo: 50 Tonnes
Guns: 40 (18 each port-side, four on deck)
Crew: 30 - 40
