He awakened in the riverside gravel, the midday sun burning into his skin. He recalled the events leading to this moment; The tall, withering warlock that marched past his gates, casting flames unto his buildings and pestilence to the riverside. The glimmering blade he held in his hands as he marched towards the intruder. The glimpse of a long, gnarled hand twisting its fingers towards him, followed by an indescribable pain that felt like crushing bone and tearing flesh, before darkness.
He felt dry, ever so dry. Pulling himself across the rocks, he made his way to the stream’s edge. There was only a moment of reprieve to splash the water into his face before his lucidity came back in full. The water was dark and fetid. He spun around, frantically analyzing his surroundings. His livelihood was gone, his home destroyed, the waters rife with the upturned corpses of fish, he wasn’t even sure where he was. He suddenly froze, spotting a figure in his peripheral near the water. He turned, it was a frog- but like no frog he had ever seen. It stared at him, perplexed, wearing the clothes of a man. He walked closer, and the frog did the same. He opened his mouth to speak, but quickly paused- the gravity of his fate dawning on him.
The frog’s face slowly morphed to one of horror, reaching its noodly fingers over its face and feeling its features. He did the same. At that moment, he realized the cruel irony of what had been done to him, that whoever had done this knew his name and had turned it against him. Fro’ji pushed himself up, standing at a far smaller stature than he had expected. He let out a groan, more akin to a croak, and began his trek downstream.
(TL;DR Got turned into a frog by an evil wizard because his name kind of sounds like froggy and now he's just out here)

(2 TURN COOLDOWN)  AQUATIC Given his amphibious nature, Fro’ji is adept at movement in underwater settings without the need to come up for air.  REGENERATIVE Fro’ji’s tongue, if dismembered, can regrow over the course of an OOC day. This does not apply to the rest of his body.  SECRETION Should any part of Fro’ji be consumed/tasted, the consumer will be overtaken by a paralyzing secretion, preventing action for a turn.  POISON IMMUNITY Given his nature, Fro’ji is resistant to all forms of poisons and toxins. |
