"They think after two thousand years that we'll fall. After two thousand years we've done nothing but grown, become stronger, created new weapons and raised whole armies. When the Fomorians they faced an entirely different battle than they do today! Ready your blades and your arrows and steel yourselves!"

Biography
The oldest stories of Aliud's early history comes from Aliud's kingdoms which share a common history tracing back to the ancient empire. Beyond that, religious texts and myths say the highest power created all and left the world of Roan to humanity, and this generally describes the belief humans hold. Humanity has a long and well recorded history - more so than that of all of the other races, largely due to the number of kingdoms and the spread of humanity across the lands. Humans primarily are one of the most proliferated race, and judging by the artifacts and records saved, humanity has had a long history of expansion.
While the truth of the world's history always has more to be uncovered, the consensus between historians is the existence of a large empire named the Tuatha Empire - one primarily dominated by humans. The Tuathan Empire was a massive empire that stretched across the continent, and battled against the Fomorians who existed even then. The Tuathan Empire also constantly battled the Draken in the frigid Vinterhold regions to the north for decades - largely in part due to the belief that the continent belonged to humans, and partially due to a common misconception of the time believing Draken as being Fomorian. After centuries of battle, the Tuatha began to fall apart, separated by the houses that composed the Tuatha through infighting and instability. After more centuries of battle, the battle of Turieadh occurred. A mere 400 years ago, the five houses each produced heroes and managed to defeat the King of the Fomorians in battle, but despite this moment of unity, it did not last. From old tales to legends and myths of the Tuathan Empire all the way to present day, human heroes have risen against every catastrophe to threaten the world.
Even so, it is not the most uncommon thing in the world to meet a human adventurer, or even meet a human resident of a non-human kingdom. Humans of all kinds can be found in all places of the world, in all shapes and sizes- ethnicities as well, depending on the regions of the world they had come from.
The largest impact the humans have possibly made on the world outside of battle is the overwhelming prominence of human literature and the common language used in every current society, and throughout all regions. Part or most of this is believed to be caused from the uniform systems in place by the Human kingdoms on Aliud sufficed to make an easier standard to follow by others, especially with humans found in all parts of the world.
Humans vary in all shapes and sizes, almost at random. There is a proliferation of the different types of human across all lands, and the sheer amount of time humans have existed has allowed for the growth of a number of cultures. Humans, however, live longer here than one would expect. The average healthy human can to live up to 120 years old. Their prime years tend to be between 18 and 60.
To other races, they are not too different than their own - humans have been inherently prideful across time, in their homes, their families, and their achievements, and the success of human kingdoms has rapidly spread humanity across the other continents, but it is only their numbers and their determination that sets them ahead. Humankind has been well known for its history of warfare, between warring kingdoms, and further beyond against different races, most notably their ongoing struggle against Fomorians - although this struggle is shared by most anyhow. Their taste for battle inspires generation after generation of warrior and soldier to rise after the last in search of glory and renown. Each human kingdom has differences in culture, however, and some may present themselves as more humble, or more brash. Some have a keen sense of justice, and others are willing to sacrifice their fellow man.
