Dwarven Firearms have long been a trump card in combat for the Kingdoms of Dwarven kind. A marvel of dwarven technology combined with their own unique runic magic, firearms are a mystery which scholars of the other races and engineers have attempted to crack but few have been able to decipher. The decades, if not centuries in which dwarves have utilized these weapons have only expanded and over time, the usage of these weapons have created new and different variations of firearm, largely unique to the roles the dwarven engineers envisioned for them. What is most frustrating to the other races, however, is the usage of dwarven firearms - powered by the same dwarven runes used in their creation, dwarven firearms are inoperable by any other race unable to utilize dwarven runes.
The Line Maraz or known as "Line Splitter"
Line Maraz, or Line Splitters, are the most common of dwarven rifles seen across the world. Dwarven engineers make these the most due to their ease of use and due to the fact that they are the common standard for the Dwarven kingdom's troops. Nearly every dwarf has utilized or knows how to utilize a line splitter rifle. It is a single shot rifle, more often then not Line Splitter rifles are the first weapons created by dwarf engineers to gauge their prowess on the forge and their understanding of rune power. Devastating as close quarter weapons, the Line Splitters can often down multiple enemies with one shot if fired into a group or then if need be, turned to use the fashioned bayonet or battle-axe grips that are typically attached to Line Splitter rifles as per Dwarven custom.
The Handcannon
The Handcannons, created as a backup firearm for dwarves, can come in many shapes and sizes, often changed for the specifics for the commissioner, or by the engineer's recommendations. Though utilized by some regiments in the Dwarven army, not every unit carries sidearms, though ironically enough dwarven rangers typically opt to carry a secondary sidearm to compliment them in close range. Handcannons and other dwarven pistols are often crafted to fire up to six rounds per load, significantly MORE than the commonly used line splitter, but reloading often takes longer than does for a line splitter. Additionally, handcannons may sometimes fire smaller sized ball but carry more ammunition, while others fire much larger sized ball and contain less ammunition. Much like stated before, it varies per commission, as the only thing really in common with most handcannons is that they are fit to be used in one hand.
The Magtower Mortar
One of the Dwarves' many passtimes is shunning elves and magic, thus, as a horrendously hypocritical turn of events, the creation of the Magtower Mortar was a hotly debated issue within the Dwarven Kingdom before it was ultimately accepted. Though it did not truly feature 'magic', Adragorn Magnusson, the creator of the Magtower, discovered the ability to enhance the characteristics of the shot fired from a rifle provided there was enough runes inscribed on the weapon. As a result, the Magtower Mortar is often a very large, very wide, and very blocky 'rifle' that appears (and functions) more like a portable cannon than a standard gun. On top of its strange aesthetic, it is often imbued with one or more of the four main elements due to the runes on the weapon, giving it the ability to fire volleys of the subsequent element. Initially, the weapons creation was so distrusted that it was refuted by most units, and its creator, Adragorn, was ousted from Daghorm Keep for the practice of magic without being allowed to defend himself. Ironically enough, a company of Dwarven Rangers requested to test one of the prototypes of the Magtower Mortar. Within the week, the Dwarven Rangers sent information back to the keep with its results, and found the use of such a weapon as a portable artillery - and along the way it saved a regiment surrounded by an advance party of elven troops, gaining it enough fame to have the High King at the time request Adragorn return to Daghorm to extend his greatest apologies.
Now, the Magtower Mortar is the choice of Artillery that dwarven infantry use to cover their advances into battle or to flush out the enemy; beyond this it has been utilized on much smaller scales for the possibility of raw damage it can deal with a single volley, though it takes time to load another.
The Marksman's Rifle
A staple weapon of Dwarven Rangers, the Marksman rifle, otherwise known as the Ranger Rifle, is a long rifle utilized by many dwarven rangers due to its power. Unlike the commonly used Line splitter, the Ranger Rifle is able to hold multiple rounds and fire up to fifteen shots before needing to be reloaded - enough to take down a number of enemies far beyond the capabilities of the Line splitter as a ranged weapon. That said, the Marksman rifle is unable to be used as a weapon itself aside from as a club, due to the fact that it does not allow for more than a bayonet attached to the very end. On top of this, most rangers opt to use a bayonet at all, and instead change to a weapon more fitting to close range if needed, unlike the Line Splitter, which is utilized for both by common infantry. It is more often than not used by, as the name implies, snipers and other marksmen of the higher calibers in the dwarven military. It is difficult to get hands on a Marksman rifle, even as a dwarf, but they often are one of the most sought out firearms as a result.

Muskets
A well known firearm, the musket is an popular weapon in the world of Man. Developed for humans by the dwarves, muskets operate in both Matchlock and Flintlock forms, but are largely unremarkable to some of the other forms of firearms - but they can be used by ANYONE unlike dwarven guns. When assigned to lines of musketeers, the volley of shot is helpful in an open battle, but depending on the enemy fought, a musket can only do so much, as oftentimes the endurance of a warrior or the power of a mage's spells can deflect or stop the fire from a musket outright.
